Neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs)-treated monocytes differentiate into macrophages. Adhered monocytes were incubated or not with NETs-enriched supernatants or digested NETs (dNETs) for 18 h. IL-4 and GM-CSF were added to the culture (where indicated) and the cells were maintained at 37°C/5%CO₂.
