(B) The number of firmly adhering monocytes in 1 mm². The non-parametric Mann–Whitney U test is used to determine the statistical difference between the groups. After Mg²⁺ stimulation, no differences exist between the age groups, showing equal amounts of adhesion receptors on the monocyte surface. For young group, n = 4 and for old group, n = 5.
