Model simulations of the maximum rate of metabolism of ETBE and TBA with ETBE inhalation exposure (A), ETBE drinking water exposure (B), and ETBE oral gavage administration (C) of dose levels up to 1000 mg kg−1. A 6 h inhalation exposure to 5000 ppm results in an estimated inhaled dose of ~850 mg kg−1 (A) with the highest ETBE dose level the animals received in the drinking water study ~550 mg kg−1 (B).
