Size-exclusion chromatography of MinD mutants. Purified proteins were analyzed by size-exclusion chromatography on a Superdex 75HR column. The proteins were loaded onto the column at 10 μM. The proteins were incubated at room temperature for 10 min in elution buffer (50 mM MES [pH 6.5], 50 mM KCl, 10 mM MgCl₂) supplemented with 1 mM ADP or ATP before loading. The nucleotide concentration in the elution buffer was reduced to 0.2 mM during chromatography.
