AOAA treatment significantly attenuated LPS-induced NO production by BV2 microglia. BV2 microglia were pre-treat with 0.1, 0.25 or 0.5 mM AOAA for 0.5 h, followed by co-treatment with 1 μg/mL LPS for 23.5 h. The NO levels in the medium were determined by using Griess agent.
