Comparisons between the post-operative cochlear implant (CI)-on condition and the pre-operative baseline with regard to power spectra, sensor topography, and source-localized activity. As compared with the pre-operative baseline, the post-operative CI-on condition resulted in significantly decreased activity in the right primary (BAs 41 and 42) and secondary (BAs 21 and 22) auditory cortices, and in the right orbitofrontal cortex (BAs 10 and 11) for the delta frequency band (P < 0.01).
