The Terrace Garden rises out of the eastern edge of the Pond Garden, stepping up to form a large, occupied exterior plaza at the first level of the hospital. Each section of the Terrace Garden is characterized by a specific collection of grasses and flowering plants that together create a vibrantly colored transition between the natural hillside and the Pond Garden.
