Reduction of tPA-induced MMP-2 and MMP-9 activations by isoflurane pretreatment (A) The level of active MMP-2 was evaluated using an activity assay kit. Isoflurane pretreatment blocked MMP-2 activation by tPA during OGD/R conditions.
