Differences in glycogen levels in cell lines with different extracellular CF activity. smlA mutant, wild-type (WT), and countin mutant cells were starved by shaking in PBM and collected at the times indicated. The levels of glycogen were measured in the three cell lines. Paired t tests indicated that the levels of glycogen in smlA mutant were significantly different from that of the wild type at 0, 2, 4, and 6 h of development, with P < 0.05.
