Samples were taken at 3 h and 14 d after reaching a concentration of 300 mM NaCl as shown in Fig. 1. Transcript amounts were quantified by qPCR and calculated relative to actin levels. qPCR data represent the average of three independent experiments with two technical replicates each. The significant difference was calculated using Student’s t-test and labelled with different letters after analysis with Fisher LSD test, with P<0.05, using InfoStat statistical software.
