| KD-II | Injury to both ACL and PCL |
| KD-III | Injury to ACL and PCL with additional medial (M) or lateral (L) injury: MCL (KD-III-M) or FCL (KD-III-L) |
| KD-IV | Injury to both cruciate and collateral ligaments (ACL, PCL, MCL, FCL) |
| KD-V | Knee fracture-dislocation |
