The proportion of CD8+ effector memory T-cells, expression of interferon-γ, and sTREM-1 levels were significantly increased by IL-12 stimulation but significantly decreased by rapamycin treatment. The peripheral blood mononuclear cells obtained from IPA mice, CTX + IPA mice, CTX + IPA mice treated with IL-12 or rapamycin, and control animals were detected using flow cytometry 7 days after Aspergillus fumigatus intranasal inoculation. Side scatter and CD8a were used to gate on CD8+ T-lymphocytes, and CD44+ CD45+ CD62+/- cells represented CD8+ effector memory T-cells.
