Subject's age is plotted against her number of adult female relatives, where r ≥ 0.063 and with the size of points scaled according to the number of datapoints they represent (5 441 female years in total). Adult female rhesus macaques entered our dataset at age 6, with one female obtaining a maximal age of 31 years. Females had a mean of 10.7 adult female relatives (min = 0, max = 45, s.d. = 7.203).
