Huh-7 hepatocyte cell line was infected with DENV-2 (TCID50 = 5 x 107/mL) for 24, 48 or 72 h and treated with different concentrations of U. guianensis bark extract (UGB), U. guianensis leaf extract (UGL) or untreated. DENV antigen (Ag) was detected by intracellular labeling with anti-DENV monoclonal antibody and anti-IgG (Alexa Fluor® 488). Fluorescence intensity and percentage of total labelled cells (live + dead) were determined using flow cytometry analysis (FL-1). Three independent experiments with 2-4 replicates each are represented and were analysed by one way-ANOVA and Holm-Sidak’s multiple comparison tests. * p < 0.05, ** p < 0.01 and *** p < 0.001.
