The miR-199a-3p mimic induces apoptosis and inhibits growth and colony formation of HepG2 cells in vitro. HepG2 cells were transiently transfected with miR-199a-3p mimic for 72 h. A. Apoptosis was analyzed by annexin V/PI staining followed by flow cytometry. B. Cell viability was analyzed with a LDH toxicology assay. C. Cell growth was analyzed with a colony formation assay. Data are shown as the mean ± SD. The experiments were all repeated at least three times to confirm the reproducibility of the results. *P<0.01 versus the control or untreated groups.
