Tempol inhibits KO₂-induced depletion of antioxidant capacity in the paw skin and spinal cord. Mice were treated with tempol (100 mg/kg) or vehicle 40 min before KO₂ intraplantar injection. Paw skin and spinal cord samples were collected 3 h after KO₂-stimulus and the oxidant capacity was evaluated by FRAP ((a) and (b)), ABTS ((c) and (d)), and GSH ((e) and (f)) assays.
