Meningitis patients exhibited a changing experience with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) care over the decade. Whereas HIV screening and antiretroviral therapy (ART) initiation were key interventions needed in 2006–2009, our 2013–2016 cohort’s experience indicates the increasing need for interventions to prevent or address ART failure as well as pre-ART cryptococcal antigen screening.
