Time resolved pattern of indoor concentrations of PM in μg/m3 at the rooftop service building next to the helicopter platform. Helicopter landing and take-off events are indicated by vertical dotted lines and labelled with date (dd-mm-yyyy) and approximate (uu:mm) time of these events. In Table 3 the parameters characterizing outdoor air quality at three outdoor locations are presented. Concentrations of gas phase air pollutants were relatively low on both reference locations and the helicopter platform. For nitrogen dioxide (NO2) the two-week average ranged from 15.5 to 17.4 μg/m3. Indoor and outdoor formaldehyde was detected on all indoor and outdoor locations and represents a normal background in Europe [16]. The outdoor TVOC values at the helicopter platform showed comparatively higher values compared to the other two outdoor reference locations.
