Analysis of Cry8-like protein purification and labeling with DyLight488. The purified protease-resistant core of Cry8-like protein was generated after digestion with chymotrypsin (Cry8-like). Then, this protein was labeled with the fluorescent DyLight488 dye (DyLight488-labeled Cry8-like). Scanning (Scan) for green fluorescence (excitation at 488 nm and emission at 518 nm) was performed to check the labeling of Cry8-like in a Typhoon Trio scanner. The numbers at the left indicate the molecular sizes (M) of protein markers, in kilodaltons.
