In the table, the means ± SE are presented for each of the traits that were analyzed. Statistical analyses were performed using two-way ANOVA (P < 0.05) followed by Tukey's honest significant difference test (Tukey HSD-test) (P < 0.05) to assess the differences between the genotypes (Sebastian and hvcbp20.ab) and the treatments (control and prolonged drought) in the epidermal pattern on adaxial or abaxial surface of a leaf. Statistically significant differences (P < 0.05) are indicated by different lower case letters (a, b, c, d). Equivalent means have the same letter. A decrease (in relation to control) of a parameter is indicated in red and an increase in green.
