Table 2.

Two quantitative context mechanisms outcome configurations referred to as translating feedback and individual feedback for the personalized self-management rehabilitation system (PSMrS).

Feedback Context Mechanism Outcome
Translating
feedback
A system that translates biomechanical data through feedback. The use of the PSMrS will facilitate the translation of biomechanical data which might enable the user to interpret their symptoms. An understanding of symptoms and change in symptoms throughout the usage of the system.
Measure: Qualitative data and quantitative Web-based data sources from insole.
Individual
feedback
A system that provides individualized motivational feedback on the achievement of walking skill. The use of the PSMrS might encourage increased intensity of practice with consequential neuroplastic changes. Increased functioning and achievement of improved walking skill.
Measure: Web-based quantitative data sources from insole.
