RE-CE ameliorates IR-induced repression of antioxidant enzymatic activities in c-kit positive cells. Mice were daily treated with the vehicle or RE-CE as described in the Materials and Methods. RE-CE treatment significantly increased the enzymatic activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-PX), and catalase (CAT) in irradiated c-kit positive cells. The enzymatic activities are presented as means ± SEM (n = 3).
