Histological evaluation of vibrissae calcification in Abcc6−/− transgenic mice. The positive effects of both transgenes (normal ABCC6 and R1314W variant) on the calcification of vibrissae (chronic pseudoxanthoma elasticum–like phenotype) was evaluated by Alizarin Red S staining (red to dark red color).
