Inhibition of LXR ameliorates lung fibrosis in miR-155^−/− mice. From 2 days before the administration of bleomycin (n = 10), mice were treated with daily injections of 22(S)HC. Weight loss (A) and collagen deposition (B) (turquoise) in miR-155^−/− mice was mitigated by 22(S)HC. The expression of Col1a1, Col3a1, and Arg2 in lung tissues (C) and Arg2(D) in BAL cells in miR-155^−/− mice was reduced by 22(S)HC. Data presented as mean ± SEM or median (interquartile range).
