Corresponding Korean Classification of Diseases (KCD) codes that had been input in the Korean National Health Insurance Service (KNHIS) database within 3 months period after colonoscopy for each category are as follows; bleeding: hemorrhage, and hematoma; perforation: injury, traumatic perforation, and accidental perforation; infection: infection following a procedure; others: air embolism, shock resulting from a procedure, and complications of surgical and medical care.
