Disassembly of RSV CA tubes followed using classical light scattering. RSV CA (300 μM) in 12.5 mM MOPS/KOH pH 7.0, 75 mM NaCl, 10%(w/v) Ficoll 400 was incubated at 34 °C for 3 hours, while the apparent absorbance at 250 nm was monitored. The temperature was then dropped to 13 °C, and absorbance measurements continued for a further 3 hours. The displayed data are the mean of duplicate experiments.
