Illustration of the calcium and iodine solution phantom used for the CT number accuracy evaluation. Left: Original FBP image of (85, 140) keV (W/L = 400/40); Middle: MENLM image (W/L = 400/40); Right: Difference image between FBP and MENLM images (W/L = 15/0 HU). The mean and standard deviation of CT numbers inside the dotted ROI were −0.3 ± 19.2 and −0.4 ± 4.1 HU for the FBP and MENLM images, respectively. No obvious structures were observed in the difference image. The mean and standard deviation of the CT number in the solid circle ROI was 0.2 ± 15.8 HU, demonstrating no signal bias in the calcium and iodine solutions.
