TGF-β2 induced ECM accumulation in human TM cells and a schematic illustration of ECM extraction protocol. A. Serum starved human TM cells (two independent samples) treated with TGF-β2 (4 ng/ml) for 96 h showed increased production and accumulation of ECM-enriched proteins as detected by silver staining of the ECM-enriched fraction separated on a gradient SDS-polyacrylamide gel in comparison with controls cells.
