Cell morphology changes after irradiation with VIS depending on the applied curcumin concentrations. Cell integrity was monitored with an incubator microscope unit immediately after the treatment and after 16h. Morphological criteria of apoptotic cells (white arrows) were observable after co-treatment with 0.4µg/ml (F), 0.6µg/ml (I) and 0.8µg/ml (L) curcumin 16h after VIS irradiation in contrast to criteria of mitotic cell (red arrows) that were less observable in the co-treated cultures.
