Cells were exposed for 15 min to vehicle (0.1% DMSO, control) or MNNG and then to pH 7.4 or 6.2 medium and were treated continuously with vehicle (0.1% DMSO), the ASIC1a inhibitor psalmotoxin (PcTX; 0.2 µM), or the PARP inhibitor DPQ (30 µM).
