(AD). Scratch and transwell assays showed that migration and invasion abilities were significantly increased in USP22-up-regulated cells compared with the control. (E, F). Up-regulation of USP22 resulted in increased levels of N-cadherin, vimentin and AP4 and decreased E-cadherin expression as assessed by RT-PCR and western blot (WB) analysis. (G, H) RT-PCR and WB analysis demonstrated that N-cadherin, vimentin and AP4 expression were decreased and E-cadherin expression was increased in SW480 cells in which USP22 was down-regulated.
