Correlation analyses between CMPF and body mass index, triglycerides, and the Stumvoll first-phase and second-phase insulin secretion index values. Pearson’s bivariate correlation analyses showed that the CMPF level was negatively correlated with triglycerides (r = −0.155, p < 0.001) and the Stumvoll first-phase insulin secretion index (r = −0.132, p = 0.010), but positively correlated with FPG (r = 0.104, p = 0.018) and 2hPG (r = 0.122, p = 0.005).
