EDS elemental mapping results. The particles contain boron, cobalt, and nickel, characteristic of the starting anode material used in the arc synthesis. Boron and nitrogen mapping results show that the tube bundles on the lower left are boron nitride and the nanoparticles are wrapped by boron nitride.
