Expression of cleaved caspase-3, CHOP, p-JNK and caspase-12 in the growth plate chondrocytes in vivo. Metatarsals were explanted from newborn mouse embryos and cultured in the presence of conditioned medium of BMP2 (300 ng/ml), BMP2 + siATF4 + siPERK for 5 days. (A) Western blot analysis was used to detect the expression of ATF4 and PERK in metatarsals cultured in the presence of conditioned medium of BMP2 (300 ng/ml), BMP2 + siPERK, BMP2 + siATF4 or BMP2 + siPERK + siATF4 for 5 days.
