CMs were dissociated from control, Jph2_High (A–B), or Jph2_Low (C–D) treatment groups. CMs were loaded with the Ca2+-sensitive dye Rhod-2 AM and imaged by confocal line scan. Representative Ca2+ transient profiles recorded from cardiac myocytes paced at 1 Hz are shown in A and C, and quantitative data are shown in B and D, plotted as mean ± SD. Number within bars indicates the number of CMs whose data were pooled to calculate the bar. These CMs were isolated from 3 hearts per group. Groups were compared by t-test. **p< 0.01. ***p<0.001. Non-significant p-values are shown in parentheses.
