The pre-policy period includes 2006 through the 2nd quart of 2010. Post-policy period includes 2011–2012. Quarters 3 and 4 of 2010 were used as a washout period because the dependent coverage provision policy began in September 2010 and did not come into effect for some until policies were renewed in January. * p < 0.05
