Reduced prevalence ρ _f/ρ ₀ from simulations of the SIS model in (a) the Advogato network, (b) the Brightkite network, (c) the Epinions network network and (d) the MSM network with random strategy, acquaintance strategy, targeted strategy and practical RDS strategy, i.e., immunization within the existing sample, at a fixed spreading rate λ = 0.25. The prevalence is averaged over 100 simulations.
