Hoxa1 directly binds regions associated with many genes in pluripotency network. The KEGG pathway for pluripotency genes in naïve and primed stem cells is shown and red shaded genes indicate a nearby Hoxa1 binding region. A comparison is show for analysis at 2 h (Upper) and 12 h (Lower). In accord with dynamics of occupancy, a number of new genes acquire Hoxa1 binding in their vicinity at 12 h, whereas some of the genes bound at 2 h are lost.
