Attenuation changes. As measure of between-subject comparison of the temperature dependence, we calculated the coefficients of determination ($R^2$) between the attenuation changes and the corresponding 1st to 10th quantiles for the animal and human datasets. Values represent results averaged across the animal and the human dataset. See Fig. 5 for illustration.
