MCL inhibits the phosphorylation of Akt. Raw264.7 cells (1 × 10⁶/well) were seeded in 6-well plates overnight and subsequently infected with Mtb for 4 hr. After washing with PBS, cells were treated with or without MCL (10 μM) for 30, 60 or 180 min. The protein level of Akt, p-Akt (Ser 473), mTOR, p-mTOR, and β-actin were detected by Western blot (a).
