A. VSMCs were infected with a retroviral vector encoding wild-type lamin A or progerin. Then expression of MMP3, CSF2, CXCL8, IL6 and TNF was examined by micro array analysis. Control siRNA was also transfected as a control (n = 4,4). B. VSMCs were infected with a retroviral vector encoding progerin and with siRNA targeting the NF-κB component RELA (p65) or DNA-PKcs.
