NK cells purified from healthy donors were stimulated with decreasing concentrations of rIL-15 alone (circle) or in combination with rIL-27 (100 ng/ml) (triangle). Cells were analyzed for (A–C) surface phenotype (flow cytometry), (D) release of cytotoxic granules in the presence of EA cells (CD107a assay). Mean and 95% confidence intervals are indicated. *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01. p = ns means not significant. Data shown are pooled from 6 independent experiments performed using NK cells from 6 unrelated healthy donors.
