Real time (RT) PCR was performed with TLR3 and GAPDH primers and an average of 2.4 fold increase in expression of both TLR3 and TRIF was observed at 24 hrs post infection when the expression was normalized to GAPDH expression. The fold change was significant with SEM of 0.218 (p=0.023).
