Depletion of IL-6 from chondrocyte conditioned media ablates IL-6 secretion from synovial fibroblasts. Synovial fibroblasts were cultured in chondrocyte conditioned media which had been treated with anti-IL-6 antibody or anti-IgG antibody during immunoprecipitation. Depletion of IL-6 in the chondrocyte conditioned media ablated the ability of fibroblasts to secrete elevated IL-6 titres in response to chondrocyte conditioned media. Data are mean ± SEM. Statistical significance was determined by one-way ANOVA ***p < 0.001.
