After determining target genes of the DEmiRNAs, Fisher's exact test was used to evaluate the hypothesis that DEmiRNA target genes were observed more frequently in the modules compared with not in the modules. The results showed that the associations between DEmiRNA target genes and Modules 2, 3, and 5 were significant (Bold value indicates p < 0.05).
