Five to six weeks old WT and NRK1KO male mice were IP injected with 500 mg kg−1 of the indicated compounds. Then, liver, kidney, brown adipose (BAT) and skeletal muscle samples were collected after 1 h, n=5 per group. NAD+ measurement in liver (a), total kidney extracts (c), BAT (e) and muscle (g) tissue. Percentage increase above basal NAD+ level in liver (b), kidney (d), BAT (f) and muscle (h) tissue upon treatments. Results shown are mean±s.e.m., *P<0.05, **P<0.01, ***P<0.001 versus WT by two-sided unpaired T-test (n=5).
