Table 1. Kinetic parameters determined for the thread and rotaxane from fitting of the kinetic data shown in Fig. 4, 8 and 9 to the appropriate model. Simulation and fitting were performed using SimFit (G. von Kiedrowski, University of Bochum, 2008). The Ka for duplex [T·T] was determined to be 4.8 × 104 M–1 and the Ka for the pseudorotaxane [L·M] was determined to be 220 M–1.
