Peaks 1–4 represent Saccharomyces cerevisiae endogenous FA, namely 16:0 (1), 16:1 isomers (2), 18:0 (3) and 18:1n-9 (4). Peaks derived from exogenously added substrates (*) and the desaturation product 22:6n−3 (DHA) are indicated accordingly.
