CTS induces cell cycle arrest at S phase and regulates the expression of cell cycle-related proteins in CCA cells.

Notes: HCCC-9810 and RBE cells were treated with CTS (0, 10, 20, and 40 μmol/L) for 48 h. (A) The cell cycle distribution of the treated cells was evaluated by flow cytometry. (B) The percentage of cells in the G0/G1, S, and G2/M phases of the cell cycle are shown. (C) The expression levels of cyclin D1, cyclin A1, and cyclin B1 were measured by Western blot analysis, and GAPDH was used as a loading control. Results are representative of 3 independent experiments. *P<0.05, **P<0.01, and #P>0.05 vs the control group.

Abbreviations: CTS, cryptotanshinone; CCA, cholangiocarcinoma; GAPDH, glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate dehydrogenase.
