EEG-fNIRS channel placement based on international 10-20 system. EEG electrodes and fNIRS channels were registered on three lateral PFC subregion namely: Dorsolateral PFC (yellow circles), Ventrolateral PFC (green circles) and Frontopolar area (grey circles). There were a total of seven EEG electrodes and 23 fNIRS channels.
